About Us
Highway 9 Studio was established in 2021 with the goal of helping bands record in a relaxed and friendly environment.  The studio features a 32 channel Soundcraft analog console, a large live room, and lots of cool vintage gear.  If you don't have a band, don't worry! Owner/producer Nick Valen is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and will gladly play drums, guitar, bass or keyboard on your songs.  

Rates
The studio rate is currently $65 per hour.  Mixing and mastering are charged hourly- we do not offer flat rates for these services.  Track count and song length are the two most important factors in determining how long it will take to mix your song.  Please call Nick at 609-235-7170 to discuss your project further and receive a quote.  You can also email us at [email protected].

Discounts for longer sessions/ multi-song projects available at studio's discretion.  

Due to last minute cancelations we require a deposit of $130 to book your first session.  This will count as payment for the first 2 hours of that session.

If you plan on recording piano, we highly recommend you have us get it tuned right before your session.  This will be an additional charge of $125 on top of the hourly rate.
